Gulf Inland Contractors (GIC), a provider of inland marine and land construction services, has been in operation for over 30 years. Recently, it has undergone some major changes. On September 5, 2012, two Houma natives, Mr. Gene Caro and Mr. Willy Falgout, acquired the business and its assets. At the time of acquisition, the new owners decided that the company name, Gulf Inland Contractors, would be retained.
Gulf Inland’s business office is located in the industrial district of Houma near Prospect.
Street at 216 Industrial Avenue B. The company occupies 4.5 acres of land with 750 feet of direct access to the Intracoastal Canal along with a 7,500 square foot fabrication shop housing an overhead crane.
Gulf Inland Contractors is active in a number of areas in its capacity as an inland marine and construction company. We serve a diverse set of industries that are inclusive of but not limited to oil and gas companies, transmission companies, plants and refineries, municipalities, etc. This places us in a unique position where learning from one industry is used to solve problems in another.
Since existence, Gulf Inland Contractors has continued to bring quality service and standards to the Gulf of Mexico, as well as to Louisiana inland waters, marshes, and land. The management of GIC is committed to fulfilling our promises and executing finished quality products safely and affordably. Our goal is to support our customers as quickly as possible and within the time frame allotted.

The new leadership and management of Gulf Inland recognizes the importance of the company’s loyal customers and vows to maintain all that serves them better while still incorporating essential changes and processes needed towards the improvement of our services.
